The purpose and goals are to cultivate diversity and enhance the quality of life for children, youth and families by providing support, education, and advocacy and networking opportunities for the professionals who serve them. 

 The goals shall be: Providing educational opportunities (e.g. lectures, workshops, skill building activities for in-service training), networking and support, resource sharing, advocacy of issues relating to childcare and school age care.

Here is the list of 5 things Kia’i ka ike members can do to promote the campaign:

1. Inform families about the campaign by having a write up about the campaign, pasting the logo (see below) and providing the website, www.bemyvoicehawaii.org in their newsletter to families.

1. Have the endorsement signature sheet at the table where parents sign-in/sign-out their children.

1. Have the endorsement signature sheet at the check-in table for a school event (i.e., school program, parent workshop, fundraiser pick up, etc.).
   

1. Attach information about the campaign to tuition receipts.

       5.  Embed the logo and website in their email

          signature.
